WEATHER CONDITIONS

Season phenology: late

Weather conditions:

Spring was very late, and winter weather was alternated by periodic warmings until 12.06. Snow cover reduced to 50% on 15.06 and completely melted on 18.06 in the lake valley, while on the plateau these events occurred on 25.06 and 8.07, respectively. Warm and dry weather prevailed after 13.06 until the end of studies in mid July.

Late spring adversely affected reproductive success in all birds, but apart of this conditions were favourable.
